The trailer shows that Denzel is taking out Ethan on his first day
in the narcotics unit in the inner city of LA. Denzel knows that
sometimes you have bend the rules to get the bad guys and Ethan
needs to try and understand. Then, well, Denzel seems to start to
snap. They say you learn something new every day - it looks like
Ethan has got a full desk of things to learn.
More as it gets closer to the movie release, but this has the
potential to be a great action/police movie. Denzel is almost always
great, Ethan is coming into his own, and toss in the always good
story of drugs in the inner city and "Training Day" should
be a winner. I hope they don't screw it up.
