Sometimes I wonder why I even write a preview because you
know that you are probably going to see Shrek 2 no matter what I say.
Anyway, Shrek and Fiona are married and get back from their honeymoon.
Now they’re off to meet Fiona’s parents who are surprised to learn
their daughter married an ogre. Well, the Fairy Godmother is not happy
about this as her son is Prince Charming and was supposed to be the
one to rescue Fiona from the tower. Now she wants Shrek out of
the picture so Charming can marry Fiona. Enter Puss in Boots,
the hit-man, err, hit-cat who is supposed to do in Shrek, but things
don't go right and now Puss is hanging out with Shrek, much to the
dismay of Donkey. Oh, you're going anyway so I guess anymore
synopsising really isn't necessary.
We can expect more jabs at the Disney folks, and as long it sticks
to the formula of the original it should be another cute film.
