Amanda Bynes plays Viola. Her older brother goes off across the
pond and convinces his sister that she should take his place at some
hoity toity school. So then it’s a story of she loves him, so does
another she, he doesn’t know he’s a she, she’s playing a he but has
to remember to be hurt when the ball hits her lower regions, and in
the end, we’ll have to see if everyone ends up with the ones they
are falling for, and just how funny it will be when it actually
revealed that Viola is really a dudette and things will get awkward.
The movie looks a little cookie-cutter, but hey, I’m all about
cookie-cutter, although even this one looks like it will be a little
young for me. I’m always up for a fun teen flick, but this just
looks to go for the easy jokes. Then again, I’m always for the easy
jokes. This one is definitely not made for adults, but for teens and
the easily amused like me, but maybe just for those easily amused
and a lot younger.
