Robin Williams is quickly showing that he can be the
twisted psycho dude.
In "Insomnia" he showed he can really be the subtle,
messed-up, killer type of dude. He didn't really mean it, but he's
still a killer. Now comes "One Hour Photo."
In this one he's running the One Hour Photo lab. You drop off
your pictures thinking they really don't look at them, but in
honesty they are looking at your life. Trust me, I know. They see
your good times, your bad times, your times to share with friends,
and finally, the developer dude gets obsessed.
Williams has now shown he can be the twisted bad guy, the subtle
bad guy, the bad guy you really wouldn't expect to be the bad guy.
He wants to be in your life, he wants to be in your soul, and he's
got all of the answers because he has seen your life, and the life
our your family develop on film.
This is a movie that will have you wondering the next time you
drop your film off at the quickie film place, and really looks
creepy because it hits us in a place we all live.
It looks like Robin Williams can really pull this off, and this
just goes to show his dexterity as an all-around actor. I think I'm
going to try to find some home-development equipment so I don't have
to take my film to the local photo-lab.
Looks twisted, and Williams looks to be in his best role yet. I'm
looking forward to it unless I hear the ending is cheesy.
