The Dude on the Right
Well, this is sure to be a tear-jerker kind of movie, a movie about a heavy topic that most parents should never have to even think about, but it does happen.  What is that you ask?  Well, it seems that Kate, a daughter of parents who seem normal, has leukemia. In desperation to keep Kate alive, the parents have another daughter, Anna, specifically to use her genetics to cure Kate, and for most of her young life, Anna goes along with the medical stuff needed to help Kate.  But Anna is almost a teenager now, can start to think for herself, and even though she loves her sister, she doesn't want her parents dictating to her what medical stuff she needs to do with her body anymore.  So, what to do?  Well, you hire a lawyer, in this case Alec Baldwin, to make it so your parents can't use you as a medical guinea pig, a decision that, of course, tears the family apart, yet somehow, I'm guessing will pull them even closer together.

The story has "bring a box of Kleenex" written all over it, and me, personally, I'll wait for the DVD because I don't need a theater full of women see me balling my eyes out, especially since I have a fiance now and don't need to show my sensitive side to pick up the ladies.  There's that, and the fact that the "Transformers" movie opens around the same time, so in my world, robots are a higher priority than a tear-jerker.  Even so, the trailer does show a good movie, so ladies, go ahead and stuff your pockets with tissues, me, if I see it, I'll be using my shirt sleeve to wipe away the tears.

That's it for this preview!  I'm The Dude on the Right!!  L8R!!!
