As we head into the fall movie season, some dudette-flicks are
coming full force, and one of them will especially be “In Her
Shoes,” and, sorry dudes, there aren’t any totally-dude movies
scheduled yet for the weekend this opens, so it’s looking like
you’re just going to have to bite the bullet and see this movie with
your favorite dudette and just be happy that Cameron Diaz parades
around in some skimpy outfits.
Two sisters are totally opposite except they have the same size
feet. Maggie (Diaz) can’t figure out why Rose (Collette) has such
cool shoes locked away in her closet, Rose can’t figure out why
Maggie is such a mooch. Rose kicks Maggie out of her pad, and Maggie
ends up with the grandmother neither knew they had (Shirley MacLaine).
Then, yea, the sisters learn a lot about themselves, they bond like
they never did before, and there will probably be lots of dudette
weeping involved.
Sorry dudes, you’ll probably be dragged kicking and screaming to
this one.
