Matt Damon is playing Edward Wilson. The CIA has just been created,
and he becomes a part of it. He believes in the ideals of The United
States, and he of course is a member of the Skull and Bones group at
Yale, so he’s already in with the influential folks. But now he is
in a job where he learns he can’t trust anyone, has to worry about
everyone around him, and is always looking over his shoulder. The
other problem for him is that he used to be decent dude, but the CIA
is corrupting him, and of course, ruining his family life,
especially with his wife, Clover (Angelina Jolie).
The cast in this movie looks great, and the initial buzz around
it gives nods to everyone involved, and it looks like a great movie
about a society most no nothing about, and probably still won’t once
the movie is over, other than these dudes in the CIA probably don’t
get paid enough for what they do, or did.
