Ahh, a remake of “The Fog,” you know, the movie that back in 1980
made every kid afraid of what might be lurking in, well, the fog.
The story sounds pretty much that same, that 100 years ago the
founders of a California town misguided a ship with lepers on it,
killing them all. Now, the ghosts of the lepers have finally had it
as ghosts and are hell-bent on seeking their revenge on the
descendents of the original founders, and a lot of people scream and
die because of what’s in the fog.
My only hope for this movie is that it will get an “R” rating
because then Maggie Grace might get naked. I’m sure the dudettes would rather
hope that Superman (Tom Welling) gets naked, but not me. Anyway, my
hunch, though, is they are hoping for a “PG-13” to get the teen
crowd in. We’ll see.
