The Dude & The W.G.N.: Tires, Fat, Scary Movies, Racing, and Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week!

By:

The Dude on the Right

It’s a Thursday and The W.G.N. is here for this "It’s Relative" podcast, and both of us quickly realize that we can’t be commercial airline pilots, but thank God Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger and the dudes in the airport towers were the fixtures of calm. Me, I almost lost some man-points because I couldn’t change a flat tire, but since the big, burly dude also wasn’t able to crack my nuts, I gained them back. In further podcast, somehow The W.G.N.’s mom went to go and see "My Bloody Valentine 3D," and he gives a little synopsis of the movie, he’s hoping to do well at an upcoming bowling tournament, and he brought the office workers together for a simple foot-race, with The W.G.N. being Mr. Fleet-Feet!

Me, I’m still stuck on TV viewing, warning The W.G.N. to clear his schedule for a new season of Survivor that starts next week, how Bikini Girl might be gone from American Idol but probably won’t go away, and what would a Thursday podcast be without my Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week, and trust me, she is in fine form this week.

Thanks for listening!

The Dude & The W.G.N.: Gov. Blago, Las Vegas, the PBA, Super Bowl, and Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week!

By:

The Dude on the Right

The W.G.N. is back from Sin City, that’s Las Vegas to the rest of you, and he doesn’t have a lot to say about it for this podcast, although he did get to meet some members of the PBA, and I’m not talking about the Policemen’s (or Patrolmen’s) Benevolent Association members on the east coast, I’m talking about members of the Professional Bowlers Association, which was having a tournament in Vegas, which I guess is more appropriate since The W.G.N. was in Vegas for a bowling tournament, but not the professional bowlers’ one. In any case, he seemed to have a good time, and I had a good time explaining the likes of how Governor, or rather just now, Rod Blagojevich, got booted out of office, how I wish a PETA commercial had better audio, and we both give our thoughts on who to root for during The Super Bowl.

I was a tad disappointed at the lack of The W.G.N.’s T.V. watching, but I suppose I’ll cut him some slack since he is trying to graduate college and get into law school and all, so, for his listening pleasure, I did enlighten him with my "Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week." The W.G.N., sadly, wasn’t inspired.

It was great to have him to chat with during this podcast, it’s always more fun to do a Podcast with someone, and who better than the World’s Greatest Nephew, even if he isn’t that much of a Bruce Springsteen fan!

Hail to the Chief!, Happy Birthdays!, Happy Anniversary!, and Getting Hitched!

By:

The Dude on the Right

Yup, let me start this podcast summary simply by saying that yes, The BFF and I got hitched together, and yes, yesterday in Las Vegas it was 65 degrees and sunny. I say this because yesterday I posted a Tweet mentioning our uniting, and the day started out with a lot of joy. The thing is, as much as Dino was doing a decent job at officiating, in the end our getting hitched wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for. I so much wanted to help The BFF "Pull My Finger," but sadly she’s still just flipping out. Such are some of the trials and tribulations with getting relationships upgraded, so as much as this podcast is about me and The BFF, with the Inauguration of Barak Obama as our 44th President upon us, I do try to also include some other topics in the podcast.

So, part of my trying to not make this podcast all about me (and The BFF), well, it also has to do with my reflecting on if Barack Obama keeps himself clean, thereby reminiscing the lyrics of “Hail to the Chief,” (I would love to know if Barak actually sang this in the Presidential shower – I know I would), how I really didn’t like “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” and a bunch of shout-outs to my sister, The World’s Most Fantastical Niece, and Stu Gotz.

And, oh yea, Bob actually had the "Clip of the Week" for "The Biggest Loser," and not Jillian Michaels.

And, oh yea, yea, AT&T, you need to do a better job at your officiating!

Here Comes Britney Spears’ Circus, Here Comes “Twilight,” and Here Are “Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week!”

By:

The Dude on the Right

Nothing gets me more exciting than news about Britney Spears, but, okay, news
about Britney Spears doesn’t normally get me excited, but

I’m podcasting solo
, and I got a notice from

Pollstar that as of today she only has one concert date in 2009,and it’s in the
Chicago area
, probably for her "Circus" tour, and in the words of "The
Pointer Sisters," I’m so excited!  Yay!

Two movies open this weekend, and
it’s all about the teen girls and children, so I also podcast a bit about
"Twilight" and "Bolt," and as Thanksgiving is upon us, I am a little melancholy
because this will be the first Thanksgiving that I don’t make the trek to the
"Old Country" since my days in retail as a Radio Shack Manager or working at a
camera store.

Thankfully, though, as a touch of sadness enters this podcast,
there’s nothing like my "Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week" segment to snap me
back to reality, and inspire me to face another day!

And as always, thanks for listening!

Werewolves, Bears, Turkeys, and Jillian Michaels.

By:

The Dude on the Right

I decided to keep this podcast
kind of short, but I can’t believe I almost
forgot to include my "Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week" feature,
which, well, I haven’t done in a few weeks, but with my return to really paying
attention to "The Biggest Loser," they return at the end of this podcast.
But before that, I do warn you about a full moon and werewolves, remind you that
Thanksgiving and Christmas is right around the corner, and hope that the Chicago
Bears can, with hopefully Kyle Orton back at the helm, defeat the Green Bay
Packers on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.

There is a little talk of
"Survivor: Gabon," but a good portion of this podcast is dedicated to my still
thinking "The Biggest Loser" shouldn’t be two hours long, how I can’t believe I
actually hate a contestant (that would be Vicky), was so elated when Amy
flipped, and hope the black team members rally around Amy to keep her around.
Vicky should have been watching "My Name is Earl" last year, before she was a
contestant on "The Biggest Loser," to learn about the Karma Train, but right now
it’s almost looking like Karma is going to kick her in the ass.

And yes, the
podcast does end with my "Jillian Michaels’ Clips of the Week," and from it we
can learn her favorite word.

Thanks for listening!
