No one should have to get good at it, but my Thanksgiving weekend honed my
skills at dialing 911, which I briefly explain why to Stu Gotz during our
"Weekend (and Thanksgiving) Wrap-Up!" I did get to see "March of the
Penguins" complete with 40 minutes worth of commercials, but Mom laughed at some
of my jokes during the movie so it was okay.
Stu, though, had a hugely busy
Turkey Day weekend filling me on his seeing "Enchanted" and "August Rush" on the
big screen, seeing
"The Guardian" on the small screen, and taking the Gotz family to see the
Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade from the comfort of a hotel room. Stu can
be very ingenious at times.
