Dani (Jackie Kelly) is doing what I’ve read the kids do these days, spending a night alone, scrolling through socials, and playing computer games. Then she gets a text from Aaron (Jeffrey Decker), an old, umm, acquaintance.
Hmm? Should she respond?
In debating mode, Dani decides first to text her friend, Christina (Cecily Dowd), mentioning Aaron’s text.
Seems like a normal night, but then the weirdness comes.
Dani’s “bedroom” is a set, part of a movie soundstage, and Dani is crashing there because she is working late.
Oh yeah, what about Aaron?
Of course she texts Aaron, Christina is working on her own rendezvous with Dani, and the texts are flying with Dani trying to figure out who she is going to hook up with, what drugs might be involved, and when said rendezvous will happen.
Fun times look on the horizon for all involved, and then there is a loud knocking on the soundstage door. Let the fun begin!
The movie is “Human,” and you’ll want to strap in and bring some cleaning supplies because I don’t know if I have ever seen this much bodily fluid spewing in a horror movie.
