Well, The Dude on the Right reviewed "Bruno," if you so desire to read his review, but Stu Gotz and The Dude also talk about it during their "Weekend Wrap-Up!" podcast. Along with the movie, the boys also have some discussions about water slides for the little Gotz’s, new shows hitting TV this summer (Stu is liking "Hung," while The Dude is getting sucked into "Big Brother"), and The Dude also had a great time seeing Tom Jones, which isn’t that unusual.

With “Bruno” being the #1 movie of the weekend, and with me and my BFF seeing it as well as Stu & Mama Gotz, Stu and I do our best to analyze the funny and the not-so-funny of Sacha Baron Cohen during this episode of our “Weekend Wrap-Up!” podcast. The good thing about a weekend, though, is that there is more to do than just movie viewing, so instead of this podcast just being about movie penis, Stu does some HBO watching and is starting to give “Hung” a decent chance while I missed “Entourage” coming back although am getting sucked into “Big Brother” again.
As weekends also go, Stu, to his sort of surprise, now finds himself with a water slide for the little Gotz’s, I got to play plumber, and a trip to see Tom Jones at Ravinia Festival showed me that the man still rocks and the ladies still like to throw their underwear his way. All of that and more in a fun-filled episode, with next week you can bet your bottom dollar we’ll be talking about “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”

What’s New? A Podcast of: Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! Relaxing for the 4th, Airport Travel, Beach Tales, and the Chicago Cubs
The Dude on the Right stayed in Chi-Town for the 4th of July weekend while Stu Gotz headed to The Sunshine State, so this podcast episode of "Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!" details their adventures at opposite ends of the country. The Dude got to see a Chicago Cubs game and see the Chicago fireworks, as well as spend some quality time with his BFF, while Stu ended up getting sunburned because he didn’t plan properly for some beach attending. Stu also got to see a metal detector nightmare in the airport during his travels while The Dude gorged a bit at the Taste of Chicago. There is some Zynga boycott supposedly going on, one that neither Stu nor The Dude are participating in, but for the most part, with this weekend done, they both are looking forward to seeing "Bruno" next weekend.
Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! Relaxing for the 4th, Airport Travel, Beach Tales, and the Chicago Cubs
While I was seeing most of a Chicago Cubs game, Stu Gotz was in Florida getting sunburned, so for this “Weekend Wrap-Up!” podcast we discuss our time apart, me in The Windy City and him in The Sunshine State. With his airport travels, Stu had some interesting stories to tell about idiot travelers and watching “Psyche” on the plane, while, even though I might be getting to old to hang in the bleachers at Wrigley Field, there is usually something more entertaining than the baseball game, and last Friday’s game was no different with “Mr. Popularity.”
As weekends go, Florida had sun and The Gotz Family, while Chicago had smiley fireworks and my BFF. For the hell of it Stu has some comments about The Hedgehog, Ron Jeremy, I relived a little bit of my fraternity days, and Stu said there was some weird boycott of Zynga games on Facebook though it wasn’t about Farmville like I thought, but some grumpiness about Vampire Wars that I still don’t understand. At least we both have “Bruno” to look forward to next weekend!

The Dude on the Right didn’t get Stu Gotz’s joke about circumcision during this episode of their "Weekend Wrap-Up!" podcast, but he did get to see "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" and Stu didn’t. The Dude also did some lawn maintenance while Stu did some SCUBA selling, The Dude liked chocolate-chip pancakes while Stu didn’t cornhole his kids, and the podcast gets poltergeisted by Rush Limbaugh – The Dude is scared.

I must apologize because somehow our podcast was possessed by Rush Limbaugh, or actually AM 890 here in Chicago, with it just mysteriously invading our "Weekend Wrap-Up!" podcast recording, but Stu and I plow through some technical difficulties for fun and good times under the sun and in the theater. With the weather nice and my BFF needing some lawn work done, I am more than happy to let Stu know that at that time, the John Deere sprinkler was working as advertised. So, as I was getting some sun, Stu was hawking some old SCUBA stuff he had, and lucky for him he did his selling before the SCUBA junkman showed up. And with the nice weekend here in Chicago, Stu was able to spend some quality time with the little Gotz’s playing the bean bag game (no, Stu didn’t cornhole his kids), and me, I took cover with the BFF to see "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." I tell Stu if he should see the movie, he tells me that his kids did see the movie and it is definitely PG-13 land. Stu, meanwhile, saw "Year One" and says it makes a nice rental down the road, we talk a little TV (Stu hated "Merlin").
Ahh, a podcast invaded by radio waves, an explanation to not underestimate the power of "Transformers," and Stu feels the wrath of religious Facebook friends – What more could you ask for?

What’s New? A Movie Review of: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
The Dude on the Right isn’t like most critics, which is probably why he liked “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” so much. For his review he spotlights a little bit of the plot, basically making sure most people will understand it’s about cars, trucks, and airplanes that change into robots, and that Megan Fox is hot. Guess he didn’t realize most fans already knew these things.

A Father’s Day has come and gone, and surprisingly Stu Gotz, who has kids, well, he sort of wishes he had the day The Dude on the Right had, especially as they talk about it during this podcast episode of "Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!" The Dude got a new iPhone and spent some quality time with his BFF while Stu, well, he got a card. The Dude also had fun at a 50th Anniversay party while Stu, well, his TV shows he wanted to watch got erased. The Dude, he had a good time at "The Proposal," Stu, well, he scared his kids when he took them to see "Land of the Lost." Two people about the same age; two different worlds.

It was weird talking to Stu Gotz for this episode of the "Weekend Wrap-Up!" podcast because I had a great Father’s Day, and I’m not even a dad unless you consider Milo, our dog, while Stu, who is a dad, with human children, had a Dad’s Day that left a lot to be desired. I got some bubble tea (twice), saw "The Proposal" with my BFF," and bought the new iPhone 3GS, while Stu, well, he pretty much got some cards. Kinda a bummer for him, but a great weekend for me, and I brag to him all about it! Yup, along with some new toys and enjoying some quality time with my BFF on Sunday, I got to meet one of our biggest podcast fans at the 50th Anniversary party of my future in-laws, as well as see a tornado of moths. Stu, well, on opposite spectrum, he tore down a gazebo, set up a kiddie pool, saw a blah movie, and had his TV recordings erased before he could see them. Maybe next year the kids will make him breakfast, Mama Gotz will rub his feet, and he’ll be at a Cubs game, or something cool like that. At least he has "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" opening up this week to keep him happy.

The Dude on the Right took a while to get this episode of the "Stu & The Dude Weekend Wrap-Up!" podcast posted, with reasons possibly to be revealed during next week’s episode. In the meantime, what better way to kick off a podcast than to talk about drunk people in England who wrestle in jelly. Sure, Stu Gotz and The Dude aren’t that exciting, but Stu is looking for a Taiwanese basket, both of the boys went to see "The Hangover," and thoughts about on the David Letterman v Sarah Palin controversy that is now over. The Dude finds himself hooked on "I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here," especially with local celebrity Patti Blagojovich seeming to be working her womanly charms around the camp. All of that and more for your listening pleasure.
