Tunnel of Love
Bruce Springsteen
A CD Review |
|
 |
Some people thought “Tunnel of Love” was a little too
commercial and radio friendly for Springsteen, but this has
consistently been one of my favorite Bruce CD’s, if only
because it sticks together as a concept and still gives you
some great story-telling as only Bruce can do. He
consistently builds an image most people can relate to, or
understand, like the “Fat man sittin’ on a little stool”
line from “Tunnel of Love” to a “All I can think of is being
five years old following behind you at the beach, tracing
your footprints in the sand, trying to walk like a man.”
Maybe a little more pop, but the stories are still being
told. This one’s a 90% on the Entertainment Ave!
listenability scale.
That’s it for this quick review! I’m The Dude on the
