Catchin Up on "American Idol," Washing Your Car, and Don't Bother with "Annapolis."

I've been lax in keeping up with current TV events, or at least giving you my
update, to I reflect on one of my favorite moments from the auditions so far.
I also saw "Annapolis" and tell you not to see it, and my McDonald's breakfast
wasn't the surprise I had hoped it would be.
Thanks for listening and reading, and as always I welcome your comments.

Stu & The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up: "The Matador," "In Good Company," and Otherwise Boring Weekends.
By:
The Dude on the Right
Ahh, another episode of "Stu & The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up." My weekend was
pretty boring as it was mostly spent working on the animation for our latest
venture, a video podcast called "Stu & The Dude Review the Movies for You," but
I did get out to see "The
Matador" with Pierce Brosnan. I mean, the movie had Pierce Brosnan in
it, I didn't go see the movie with Pierce, nope, I was stuck with The Dude on
the Left, and I give a quick review. Stu was stuck at home and saw "In
Good Company," and he talks a bit about that, and the both of us were
disappointed with the snowstorm that never really came.
Thanks for listening and reading, and as always I welcome your comments.

Stu & The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up: "Last Holiday," Football Talk, and Rude Parkers.
By:
The Dude on the Right
It's here, this week's Stu and The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up. Oddly enough we
both went to see "Last Holiday" with Queen Latifah. I liked it more than
he did, but both of us felt wrong for liking a movie that pretty much had no
surprises. There was also some football talk, specifically how bad the
Chicago Bears did, and Stu rants a bit about people who park rudely when getting
their morning coffee. Me, I just wondered which express lane sign at the
grocery store takes precedence, the one hanging from the ceiling, or the one
from the cashier's pole.
Thanks for listening and reading, and as always I welcome your comments.

TV & "Battlestar Galactica," "Match Point" & "The Notebook," Sirius & Howard & Sulu.

So we're a day late and a few dollars short, but this podcast is Stu and mine's
weekend wrap-up. Stu was happy because "Battlestar
Galactica" returned from reruns, and I try to work through with him my TV
viewing troubles. We also have some movie discussions about "Match Point"
and "The Notebook," and I hip Stu into the fact that I got a second
Sirius receiver for the
Dude-pad, specifically to hear all of
Howard Stern's show,
and how George Takei
is Howard's announcer this week and has been very funny so far.
Thanks for listening and reading, and as always I welcome your comments.

Howard Stern is back, Survivor 12 presents another problem, and some movie awards you may not have heard about.

Stu Gotz couldn't make it today for our weekend wrap-up, although we might try
to pull that off tomorrow, but I still wanted to hip you to some things you
might have missed over the past few days. First off,
Howard Stern is back on
the air, but only if you pay for him, and from my perspective, if you were a fan
of his before the investment should be worth the money. Secondly, my
television viewing will really get messed up in February as "Survivor"
kicks back in with its new season, against "Smallville"
and "Dancing
With the Stars." I'm so screwed. Lastly, I talk about a
movie/video awards show you probably missed this weekend because, well, it
wasn't on TV. Lots of big winners, they even have a special effects
category, although the more I think about this, and I have to really stop
thinking about this, should they really have this category. Oh well.
Thanks for listening and reading, and as always I welcome your comments.

The third time's a charm and "Dancing With the Stars" talk.
By:
The Dude on the Right
I always said I would just push "Record," start talking, and let that be our
podcast. Not this time, the third time had to be the charm. The
first try had one computer glitch that I couldn't fix on the fly, the second try
had my recording computer freeze thanks to a bad anti-virus program kick-in, so
I finally got everything to go on the third try. The sad part is most of
it admits that I am a fan of "Dancing With the Stars" and ABC has now given me
huge problems on my Thursday night television viewing since I don't have enough
TIVO's to record everything I want to watch.
As always, I welcome your comments.

Stu and The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up: A boring New Year's Eve, a disgusting night watchman shack, and "The Producers" talk.
By:
The Dude on the Right
What better way to ring in the new year than with another episode of "Stu and
The Dude's Weekend Wrap-Up!" Yup, Stu and I got together to do a 15ish
minute discussion of our New Year's Weekend. Me, my Eve's evening was
pretty boring, and Stu had his Pretty Lady's parents in town. We also did
a discussion about my seeing the new movie version of "The Producers," and just
how disgusting Stu's old night watchman's shack became over time.
As always, I welcome your comments.
