Claire Daines is Mirabelle. She works in a department store selling
gloves. Steve Martin is Ray. He’s an older rich dude. Jason
Schwartzman is Jeremy. He’s a musician, who, of course is
struggling. Yup, you guessed it, Mirabelle likes them both, and of
course, she’s going to have to make a choice. Hmm, rich dude with
white hair or struggling musician. That’s a tough call, but in any
case this is already getting movie award buzz, and I’m a fan of
Claire, so I’ll try to be there when it opens.
Kinda a romantic comedy, yet still a little serious, this will
probably be a date movie, but rather than cheesy this one looks a
little more on the artsy side. Steve Martin is usually no slouch in
the movie world, so there is a lot of potential for this one.
