So you win an Academy Award. What movie role do you take
after that? Why a role in a creepy movie about the plagues
from the bible. That will further your career.
Alright, maybe Hilary was already signed onto this movie
before she won her Oscar for
“Million Dollar Baby,” but on
the creepy scale this one doesn’t seem to be on the
inquisitive scale of the Demi Moore flick “The Seventh
Sign.” Lucky for Hilary the weekend of April 6th is a little
week for me in the movie releasing scene, other than
“Grindhouse” and a couple of kid movies.
Heaven and Hell, fire and brimstone, plagues and blood
and locusts and killing of first borns. We have seen this
before, but supposedly this ends up being a movie about
someone who has lost their faith, but must find it again to
save humanity, or at least a small town.
“Grindhouse” is first on my list of things to see the
weekend this opens, but I think this one will be a little
above “The Firehouse Dog.”
