The Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift

It seems that this movie franchise will not go away, and now every
crazed kid thinking he can spruce up his car and race will strip
everything out of their car that adds weight, and now try to “drift”
their race cars because it looks so cool on screen.
We get new people, namely Bow Wow and Lucas Black, in a new
place, this time Japan, and the world of illegal street racing has
turned into something called drifting. The cars are lighter so they
slip and slide around, so rather than just down and dirty “hit the
NOX” button to get your speed burst, things aren’t so simple
anymore. But our heroes are thrown into this world, and somehow they
have to survive.
Look, I will say that this movie looks cool on screen, but it’s
another busy movie weekend and I’ve grown a little tired of street
racing movies. I’ll have to see how my weekend goes, so I don’t know
if I’ll catch this one in the theaters, but we’ll see.
