Katie Holmes plays a dudette whose boyfriend disappeared a couple
of years ago. Now the detective, Benjamin Bratt, is investigating
another disappearance but somehow the boyfriend comes up. Katie thinks
she keeps seeing her old boyfriend, Benjamin starts to have his eyes
set on Katie (and who wouldn’t?), Katie starts to have her eyes set on
Benjamin (I suppose dudettes would), and this is shaping up to be your
typical, suspense-type movie.
There’s nothing fascinating about the story, and the fact that it
is rated PG-13 means that the filmmakers are hoping to draw the high-schoolers
in to see Katie Holmes and Benjamin Bratt and don’t care about making
things really gory or add at least some nudity. I’ll catch it if I can.
